From 2007 negotiations are underway to organize a grand prix in India, the first edition was postponed twice and finally in 2011 the first Formula 1 Indian Grand Prix is held on the International Circuit on Buddh.
The Indians are satisfied with this decision and to see a team belonging to Indian businessman Vijay Mallya in the race.
The inauguration in October 2011 by the American metal band, Metallica, was a black point for the first edition because the band has canceled the concert at the last moment for security reasons.
